The world today seems to be spinning out of control, deeper into the despair of hopelessness. People everywhere are searching for a truth beyond themselves to hold on to. How can we as Christians profess to have found true hope for this desperate world and yet live in the mediocrity of clouded vision and occasional intimacy with the Father? When we discover the true meaning of hope we can smile in the face of uncertainty and be filled with joy in the midst of turmoil. Hope is not just an optimistic illusion. Hope says that no matter where we are, or what we are facing, God's arm always reaches out to us. Only after we realize our true identity in Christ will we fulfill our destiny and show this world that they no longer have to hang on by an unraveling thread, but can grab hold of Jesus Christ, the incorruptible Rope of Hope!
